BUFFALO, NY—Local home builder Forbes Capretto Homes opened its newest community of single-family homes in Grand Island on October 20, 2022. The launch of Island Meadows was celebrated by one of the largest group of prospective buyers the builder had ever welcomed at a community opening.

Sarah Hubbard, New Home Sales Consultant for Forbes Capretto Homes, said she had fielded many calls prior to the opening day, but was still impressed by the turnout at the Forbes Capretto Homes Design Center in its Cheektowaga headquarters. At the end of the day, 4 of the 22 homes to be built in Island Meadows received commitments.
