We invite you to attend this year’s Gift Gathering Party with us on Wednesday, August 7 at NEAT! This annual event benefits the Buffalo office of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the 5th Annual Dish it Out gala.
The NCMEC committee is rolling out the red carpet at this fun event, complete with cocktails, appetizers and live music. Gift suggestions to bring to the event include gift certificates, gift cards, luxury items or monetary donations. The Gift Gathering party takes place Wednesday, August 7 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and is being held at NEAT, located at 5175 Transit Road in Williamsville, New York.
The annual Dish it Out gala, which this party supports, takes place on October 18, 2019. The Dish it Out gala is a celebrity chef gourmet challenge and auction held to benefit the New York Branch of the NCMEC. The event brings together the area’s top chefs who will compete for top chef honors, while attendees enjoy fine wine pairings, delicious local microbrews, music, and legendary silent and live auctions that feature gifts you provide at the annual Gift Gathering party!
The NCMEC’s mission is to find missing children, reduce child exploitation, and prevent future victimization. Part of the way this happens is by providing critical services to our community including abduction, sexual exploitation and abuse prevention to students, teachers and parents; case assistance to law enforcement when a child has gone missing; and law enforcement training. In 2018 alone, the NCMEC assisted law enforcement and families with more than 25,000 cases of missing children.
This is just one of the many events that we have the privilege of attending on behalf of the NCMEC. For more details on the projects we engage in on behalf of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children New York Branch, visit our blog.
